On Thursday, we took a trip to Granada to see the Alhambra. It is a complex with palaces, gardens and a fortress.

It was raining when we arrived and toured the Generalife gardens.

This is the Alcazaba. Long before the palace was built, there was a Moorish fort on the mountain. Inside the walls can be seen the remains of the soldiers' quarters and their baths.

This is the top of the westernmost tower, at the Alcazaba.
It has a commanding view of the city of Granada.
